As newcomers to the RV world, for the 7 months from our decision to Go Around to the time to leave, we had been frenetic in our research:
- where to go, what to do
- what vehicle would suit us best
- what van would suit us best
- what technical issues we needed to get on top of
- how to get information.
But we very quickly made decision on the type of RV for us – a caravan – and a tow vehicle – a Land Cruiser. In hindsight we moved too quickly on these fundamental decisions without really understanding the most critical factors that should underpin them. We call that our “‘Oops” moment and to read all about that click here.
