WE HAVE NOW COMPLETED OUR BIG 2018 & 2019 TRIP AROUND AUSTRALIA, INCLUDING A VISIT TO TASMANIA FOR A MONTH IN 2019, AND WILL CONTINUE TO VISIT NEARBY PLACES IN NSW AND SOUTHERN QLD.
Between mid February 2018 and early November 2018 we travelled anticlockwise from Sydney, ending up in Port Lincoln. That journey covered over 31,000kms and took us to some incredibly beautiful and amazing places. It was truely a brilliant experience.
In a bid to avoid the worst of the hot summer in Victoria and South Australia, we paused our travels from Nov 2018 until Feb 2019. Between 6 Feb and 1 May we toured Victoria and South Australia extensively. A journey of almost 11,500kms – another amazing trip.
We traveled Tasmania without a caravan for pretty much all of October 2019 – what a rewarding place. They say it is a small island but we found a month was rushing things – we needed more time.
We also plan to visit the nearby places in NSW and Qld that we bypassed on the main trip around. And we want to return to places we loved on the BIG trip – such as Ningaloo.
